She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Pearson and Margaret Pearson. She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Sarah DeSoto of Dawson and Maria DeSoto (Alex Luhman) of Montevideo; her grandchildren, Martin, Savannah, Autumn, Josephine, David, Asenath and Alexander; and her sister Elizabeth Storlien (Jeff) of Dawson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
