It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Carlson of Dawson, Minnesota, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Carlson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parent Dorothy Eidson; her husband Butch Carlson; her siblings, Wayne Eidson, William Eidson, Susanne Eidson and Theresa Eidson; her sister-in-law Marian Littlefield (Stan); and her son-in-law Roy.
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Smith (Ryan), Deb York (Johnny), Ron Carlson (Kristin), Pegi Harberts (Jerry) and Cyndi Winkelman (Jay); her grandchildren, Will, Justin (Mel), Pip (Alyssa), Kyle (Staci), Mike, Sam (Emily), Bailey (Cat), Brooke, Mason and Evan; her brothers, Richard Gaetke, Donald Gaetke and James Eidson; and her friend Father Schmitzer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In the last year or so Mary made a number of "lapghans" and donated them to the Dawson Care Center for the residents.
