It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Bothun of Dawson, Minnesota, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Peterson and Hazel Peterson (Wicks); her husband Alden Bothun; her son Donald; her aunt Pearl; her sister-in-law Joyce Peterson; and her great grandchild Landon.
She is survived by: her sons, Brad (Martie), Greg (Tami), Kevin (Monica), Doug (Deb) and Steve (Lisa); her daughter-in-law LuAnn Bothun; her brother Wayne Peterson; her brother-in-law Verdell (Diane); and her grandchildren, Eric (Melissa), Scott (Tasha), Emily, Cori (Brook), Joseph (Tristin), Kristin (Paul Daline), Brian (Kayla), Billy Joe (Hope), Cheri (Aaron Ziemer), Dustin (Andrea), Danielle (Josh Lundy), Ryan (Rachel), Nikole (Ken Nelson), Cody (Ranita), Richard (Cori), Ben (Chelsie), Dave, Luke (Carli), Tom (Crystal), Mike (Samantha), Jim (Lindsey), Jake (Ashley), Donny, Jr., Jordan, Mary, Dylan (Stef) and Garrett (Michelle). She is also survived by 58 great-grandchildren.
