He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Jo Jager (DeGriselles); his father Glenn Gilbertson Jager; his parents-in-law, John and Donna DeGriselles; and his sister-in-law Karen Volk.
He is survived by: his mother Helen Mae Jager (Anderson); his daughter Nichole Swenson (Daren); his grandsons, Alexander and Aiden Swenson; his son Justin Jager (Marilee); his grandchildren, Helen and Brice Jager; his brothers, Gary Jager (Andrea), Gordon Jager (Vicki), Galen Jager (Paula) and Gene Jager; and his sister-in-law Melva Larson (Roni).
Under his management, he facilitated many generous contributions to the City of Dawson through his annual wine tastings.
