He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Varland and Bessie Varland (Robertson); his wife Janet Mae Anderson; and his brother Steven. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Jadinak of Cokato and Scott Varland (Lori) of Dassel; his grandchildren, Nick Jadinak (Erin), Jeff Jadinak, Michael Hauan (Jessi), Kendyl Varland and Briana Swanson (Pedro); his great grandchildren, Arly Jadinak, Jolynn Hauan, Brooke Hauan, Trenton Hauan, Micah Hauan, Anthony Butkus and Luke Butkus; his nephew Peter Carlson; and also Jill Butkus (Brian).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Covenant Church (251 Lake St, Dassel, MN 55325).
