He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Goemer and Alvina Goemer (Lewerenz); and his wife Marion Josephine Gunnary (Jo). He is survived by: his children, Craig (Carol) of Alexandria, Lori Noel (Dave) of Golden Valley, Lee of Elk River, Carolyn Dornbush (Cal) of Woodbury and Mark (Stacey) of Delano; his grandchildren, Natasha Mills (Jeff), Angela Heidelberger (Ryan), Brett Noel (Tiffany), Amy Anderson (Matt), Melissa Skoglund, Jeffrey Noel, Megan Dornbush, Alyssa Noel, Michael Dornbush (Christina), Cedar Goemer and Quentin Goemer; his sisters, Mary Steele of Madison, WI and Sharon Elmquist (Richard) of Breezy Point; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Goemer of Litchfield, Barbara Gunnary and Teddy Kothe of Annandale. He is also survived by grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (611 2nd St, Dassel, MN 55325). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (430 5th Ave SW, Hutchinson, MN 55350).
