She was predeceased by: her parents, George Warnke and Florence Warnke (Moody); her husbands, Marlyn Smith and Darrel Upton; and her sister Marlyce Hepner.
She is survived by: her children, Rory Smith (Peggy) of Dassel and Tracy Lawson (Andy) of Greenfield; her stepdaughter Laurie Davis (Art) of Northville, MI; her grandchildren, Adam Smith (Meredith Miller), Courtney Smith (Kyle Nicks), Kelly Lawson, Will Lawson and Drew Lawson; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan Davis (Brigid), Julie Ratekin (Bobby) and Becky Nedo (Derek); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Avery Nedo, McKinley Nedo, Davis Ratekin and Lincoln Davis; her siblings-in-law, Ilo Broberg, Elvera Smith, Marlyce Hoium and Robert Smith; and her cousin Mary Hokanson (Don). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
