He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Kivi and Aina Kivi (Anderson); his siblings, Phil, John, Mary Jane, Ruth, Lorraine and Carol Jean; his sisters-in-law, JoAnn and Nancy; and his great grandchild Erik Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Kivi of Dassel; his children, Terah Kivi of Longmont, CO, Kelly Berreau (Tom) of Robbinsdale, Mary Desens (Doug) of Litchfield, Shelly Christians (Clint) of Watkins and Marc Kivi (Lynn) of Big Lake; his grandchildren, Haakon Anderson, Asa Anderson, Danielle Johnson (Spencer), Travis Pankake (Riannon), Andrew Desens, Alexa Desens, Kendra Christians and Lukas Christians; his great grandchildren, Ayva, Lola, Bella, William Pankake, Gracie Johnson, Avery Johnson and Caroline Desens; his brothers, Kenny Kivi (Mary) of Minneapolis, LeRoy Kivi of South Haven, Gordy Kivi of Madison Lake and Jerry Kivi (Deanna) of Eagan; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Kivi of Minneapolis.
