It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Walter Allrich of Dassel, Minnesota, born in Mahnomen, Minnesota, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allrich and Tena Allrich (Pederson); and his brother Dennis Allrich (Bonnie). He is survived by: his brothers, Roger (Carol) and Harold Allrich (Jean); his children, Mylan Allrich (Sheila) of Chanhassen, Marlow Allrich (Sara) of Burnsville, Michelle Townsend of Babbitt, Janeen Poirier of St Augustine, FL and Eric Thomas (Alena) of Wasilla, AK.; his grandchildren, Ryan, Benjamin, Jackson, Amanda, Nicholas, Noah, Matthew, Maxwell, Alisha, Alexandria, Christopher, Jack and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Charlee, Greyson, Maisie, Anthony and Audrey.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to his favorite charities Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lutheran Hour, Shriners Hospital, Boys Town, and FMSC or the charity of your choice.
