Margaret Barbara Backes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Barbara Backes of Dassel, Minnesota, who passed away on June 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kinzer and Mary Kinzer (Boeckmann, family: Cold Spring, Minn); her siblings, Jack, Peter, Francis, Joseph, Adolf, Arthur, Ardelle, Catherine, Mary and Rose; and her great grandchild Dominic.
She is survived by: her husband David Backes; her children, Carol Hermel (Linden), David Backes (Susan), Mary Yackley (Bill), Elizabeth Herberg (Wayne) and Joseph Backes (Cari); her grandchildren, Jeremy, Melissa, John, Garrett, Stephanie, Andrew, Grant, Heather, Austin, Samantha, Madelyn, Elena and Samuel; her great grandchildren, Valerie, Masie, Devin, Marlo, Lily, Evie, James, Isaac, Ryleigh, Logan, Amelia, Lauren and Russell; her great great grandchildren, Lana and Casey; and her sisters, Helen and Betty. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
