He is survived by: his wife Lillian Amundsen; his children, Clarine Spencer (Dan), Rhonda Heidegger (Carl), Michelle Sarkkinen (Donald), Todd (Katherine), Scott (Heidi), Kevin (Judy), Gregg (Helen), Dean (Debra), Julie Marttinen (Walter) and Aaron (Jody); his brothers, Curtis (Betty) and Stephen (Laura); and his sister-in-law Helen Sarkinen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
John Kenneth Sarkinen, age 88, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, from Parkinson's disease at his residence in Waverly.
