He is survived by: his former wife Margaret "Muggs" Kennedy; his wife Margaret "Muggs" Nelson of Dassel; his children, Kelly Hyland (Chris) of Isanti and Kerry Kowalski (Scott) of Chetek; his grandchildren, Logan Hyland, Nolan Hyland, Peyton Kowalski and Brielle Kowalski; his siblings, Mary Jackson of Dassel, Joe Nelson of Dassel and Doris Koser of Portland; and his sister-in-law Gail Nelson of Darwin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
