Deanna Mae left this world on February 13, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her former husband Clarence Hoversten of Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church; her husband Lewis Martens; her grandparents, Julia and Herman Eklund; and her parents, Sigrid and Harold.
She is survived by: her brother James Martens; her nephew Joseph of St. Petersburg Florida; her children, Robert of Utah, Kenneth of Wisconsin and Grace Carlise of Minnesota; and her grandchildren, Autumn, Corey, Carver, Zachary, Tela, Devin, Darren and Dean. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, and many cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church (221 Atlantic Ave E, Dassel, MN 55325). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
