He was predeceased by: his wife Hilma Bristlin; his parents, Ruth Johnson and Henry Johnson; his grandson Alan Jr.; his niece Rebekka; and his nephew Luuk.
He is survived by: his son Alan Johnson (Polly); his stepdaughter Mary Eddy (Duane); his grandchildren, Alanna, James Johnson (Nicole) and Sarah Lofgren (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Leo and Danny; his siblings, Sharon Wahala (Larry), Shirley Kehler (Fred) and Loren (Betsy); and his nephews, Jeff, Jason and Jordan Wiebe. He is also survived by cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
