She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sterner and Anna Sterner (Fiecke); her husband Leon P. Horstman; her son Paul Horstmann; and her siblings, Andrew Sterner, Clemens Sterner, Regina Halepeska, Lucille Jorgensen, Marion Meyer, Mary Schroeder and Margaret Sterner.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Bajari (Jerry), Cecil Horstmann (Laura), David Horstmann (Marcia), Angela Horstman, Charles "Chuck" Horstmann (Ann) and Mark Horstmann; her siblings, Florian Sterner, Ed Sterner (Pat), Eugene Sterner, Cletus Sterner, Annette Grzeskowiak and Rita Laxen; and her brother-in-law Marcus Halepeska. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren & twenty-nine great grandchildren.
