It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilfred Nicholas Hess (Darwin, Minnesota), born in Litchfield, Minnesota, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Doris Hess (Holmgren); his sister Delores Farley (Doug); his parents, Joseph Hess and Irene Hess (Smith); and his brothers, James and Joseph Jr. Hess.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Joni Jarvis (Richard), James Hess (Lorrie), Robert Hess (Michelle) and Donald Hess (Lisa); his brother Charles Hess (Ann); and his sister-in-law Iris Holmgren. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
