He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his children, John Liepold of Dassel, Alan Liepold (Lara) of Hutchinson, Lori Bruns (Mark) of Utah and Lisa Bohnsack of Jordan; his grandchildren, Kody (Mollie), Hannah, Brooke, Tyler, Lukas and Bryce; and his siblings, Marilyn Bush and Don Liepold (Mary). He is also survived by his children how to farm, garden, raise animals.
