With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delaino V. Schafer of Darwin, Minnesota, born in Renville, Minnesota, who passed away on May 11, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Schafer and Laura Schafer (Pfeifer); his brother Gilman Schafer; his daughter Dottie Lee Schafer; and his grandson Gregory Trautman.

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Schafer of Darwin, MN; his children, Dulles Schafer, Dorle Blackwell (James), Lauri Dallmann and Randy Schafer; his stepsons, John McClure, Bryan McClure (Mary) and Scott McClure (Tina); and his sister Diann Schafer (Many). He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 6 Great-great-grandchildren.
