He is survived by: his siblings, Patrick Hansen (Mary) of Darwin, Colleen Bonniwell (Bruce) of Dassel, Deacon John Hansen (Ruthann) of Dassel, Mary Mortenson (Kurtis) of Dassel, David Hansen of Chanhassen, Catherine Elliott (Dana) of Circle Pines and Michael Hansen (Kristen) of Greenfield; and his nieces and nephews, Joe Bonniwell (Jen), Shawn Hansen (Annette Cole), Rosanne Hansen, Bianca Bonniwell, Rebecca Foresman (Nathan), Stephen Hansen (Melissa), Kristina Ryan (Kellen), Jessica Rosales (Eduardo), Rev. Nathan Hansen, Philip Hansen, Margo Hansen, Garrett Hansen, Lauren Hansen, Daniel Mortenson and Grant Hansen.
He was past Chairman and current board member of the Darwin Community Legacy Foundation. Past member of Meeker Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and on the Meeker County Economic Development Corporation Board.
