He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Kunkel and Hildegard Ressemann; his daughter Patricia Shoutz; his sister Audrey; his parents-in-law, James and Rose Wanous; and his brother-in-law Myron Wanous.
He is survived by: his wife Millie; his children, James Kunkel (Jenny), JoAnn Ebner (Leon) and Melissa Hall-Thomas (Shawn); and his siblings, Paul (MaryAnn), Rosanne, Cathy and AngieHe. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Johns (106 N 4th St, Darwin, MN 55324). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
