He is survived by: his wife Elaine Margaret Chevalier; his children, Johnny Carruth (Cindy) of Danvers, Tom Carruth (Caye) of DeGraff, Teresa Pelkey (Bob) of Willmar, Jim Carruth (Judy) of Danvers, Mike Carruth of Binghamton, NY, Mary Branstad (Mark) of Rochester, Ann Bell (Rick) of Chatfield, Joe Carruth (Jolene) of Danvers, Pat Carruth (Tammy) of Montevideo, Bob Carruth (Therese) of St. Paul, Bill Carruth (CarolLee) of Ellendale, N. D., Dick Carruth (Kelly) of St. Cloud, Dan Carruth of Melrose, Cathy Carruth of Ramsey, Liz Tanabe (Curtis) of GrandForks, N. D., Laura Amundson (Brad) of Brainerd, Maggie Ackman (Jon) of Maple Grove and Marie Knodel (Aaron) of Fargo, N. D.; and his sisters-in-law, Muriel Bright, Rita Quinn and Janice Chevalier. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, at John's request, memorials will be directed towards masses said in his name.
