He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Fischer and Esther Fischer; his brothers, Daryl Fischer (Bud) and Lowell Fischer; and his brother-in-law John Dougherty.
He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Tolzman of Renville; his grandchildren, Jill Boros, Molly Fischer, Courtney Fischer, Aaron Boros, Nick Fischer, Joseph Matheny and Jack Matheny; his great grandchild Lillian Regnier; and his sister Dolores Dougherty of Annandale, MN. He is also survived by 12 nephews and nieces, cousins and close friends.
