She was predeceased by: her parents, Obert Sather and Esther Sather (Benson); her husband Grant Heinemann; her daughter Janice; and her sister Sylvia Anderson.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Heinemann of Danube and Susan Heinemann of Chanhassen; and her siblings, Ellsworth Sather (Patricia) of Franklin, David Sather (Sylvia) of Franklin, Janet Massen of St. Louis Park and Ruth Sorenson of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
