He is survived by: his wife Sandra DeGroat; his child-in-law Vineva Wertish (Frank) of Danube; his granddaughter Michelle Braun (Corri Zieske); his great grandchildren, Johanna, Lauren and Ryan; his grandson Scott Wertish (Paige); his great grandchildren, Evan and Brett; his grandsons, Matthew Wertish of Willmar and John (Annette) of Arizona; his great grandchild Justin Bjorklund (Kirsten); his siblings, Jerry Wallert (Mary) of Clearlake, SD, Betty Schemmel of Bird Island, Elaine Cloutier (Jerry) of Willmar, Karen Meyer of New Germany, Thomas Wallert (Charlene) of Renville and James Wallert of Olivia; and also, Ethan of Glenwood, Kayla Moldestad (Ryan), Abe of Belle Plain and Chad Wallert (Darla Heiderscheit) of Olivia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and Friends.
