He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern Berg and Jeanette Berg; and his grandparents, Edward, Emma Berg, Jens and Alfreda Johansen.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Berg; his children, Sonia Dwiggins Von Rude (Jason), Jessica Aronica (Salvatore), Meko Berg-Nelson (Casey), Clinton Rude and Nicole Berg; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Jeffrey Berg, Tony Carter, Logan Jean Nelson, Parker Taylor, Winston Taylor, Corinne Aleman, Salvatore Aronica, Joselyn Rude, Colby Rude and Roran Aronica; his siblings, Brenda Johnson (Terry) and Jean Tinjum (Mike); his mother-in-law Sonia Smith; and his pet Morris Mufasa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; his many good friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zion-Sarpsborg Free Lutheran Church (208 N. Cleveland Ave, Dalton, MN 56324). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
