He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gerlach and Josephine Gerlach (Beckwith); and his granddaughter Teri Gerlach. He is survived by: his pet Cujo; his daughter Michelle (Clement Puent Jr.); his wife Lana; his grandchildren, Paige Rosas, Miranda Gerlach and Harley Puent; his daughter Stacy Lundtvedt (Daniel); his grandchildren, Zachariah Rice, Alexis Wang (Jake), Benjamin Rice, Tyler, Teressa, Didrik and Danielle Lundtvedt; and his siblings, Becky Pharis (Keith), Michael Gerlach, Steven Gerlach (Fran), Jesse Hankins (Jack) and Mary Jane Koenig (Greg).
In accordance with Greg's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Dakota Fire and Rescue Department or New Leash on Life Dog Rescue – Rockland.
