He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald C. Panek and Minnie Panek (Larsen); his wife Marlee; his son David; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Evans, Art Evans and John Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, James Panek (Judy) of Dakota, MN, Ricky Panek (Terry) of Elba, MN, Jodi Stark (Jon) and Kevin Panek (Jolinda) of Altura, MN; his daughter-in-law Cindy Panek of Dakota, MN; his grandchildren, Eric, Marcy, Nicole, Brandon, Laura, Jamie, Kyle, Bobbi, Dillon, Daniel, Carli, Michael and Ethan; his sister Virginia Schroeder of Winona, MN; and his sister-in-law Shirley Harms (Harlon) of Ellsworth, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
It is respectfully requested that memorials be directed to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nodine.
