He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Illg and Neva Konold Illg; his son Steve Illg; his siblings, Gerald Illg, Joretta Ohlrich and Delores Chermack; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Agnes Ruppert.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Illg of Currie, MN; his children, Julie Nagel of Fort Dodge, IA, Joan (Mike Hart), Randy Illg of St. James, MN, Lori Illg of Bayfield, CO, Cindy (Randy Kruse), Rick Illg of St. Cloud, MN and Marie (Brian Schultz); his friend Toni Galvin of Currie, MN; his brother-in-law Bob Chermack of Minneapolis, MN; and also, Gene, Dottie Illg of Minneapolis, MN, Marlow Illg of Minneapolis, MN, Char and Paul LeBrun of Monticello, MN. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three siblings.
