She was predeceased by: her parents, Emanuel Nelson and Helen Nelson; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Lorraine Leonard; her sisters, Delores Sell (Bud) and Patty Hansen (John); and her brothers-in-law, Butch Anderson and Harold Leonard.
She is survived by: her husband Gerry Leonard; her children, Nick Leonard-Mason (John), Laura Olsen (Mike) and Andy Leonard (Stacie); her grandchildren, Ethan Leonard, Derek Olsen, Noah Leonard, Madeline Olsen and Ali Leonard; and her sister Sandy Anderson.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking memorials to be directed to the American Cancer Society.
