He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kuhlman and Louise Kuhlman; his wife Ruth Ann; his son Philip; his siblings, Donald and Lois Lorenzen (LeRoy); and his brother-in-law Elmer Bartels.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard, Bob (Trudy) and Dan (Susan); his grandchildren, Tamara, Ashley, Nathan and Melissa; his sister Eunice Bartels; and his sister-in-law Carol Kuhlman.
