He was predeceased by: his parents, George Angell and Myrtle Angell; his former wife Helen; and his sister Doris Schiltz. He is survived by: his wife Marge of Crosslake; his children, Dave (Mary) of Arden Hills, Cathy Gallagher (Mark) of Antioch, CA, Mary Albrecht (Ron) of Minneapolis and Teri Knutson of Rosemount; and his sister Vi Jones of Burnsville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and extended family members and friends.
