He is survived by: his wife Deanna Green; his sons, Mark Engen (Carol Moeller) of Winona, MN, Steve Engen (Heidi Schrupp) of Crosslake, MN, Matthew Engen (Julie Sorby) of Fargo, ND and Brian Engen (Julie Ness) of Crosslake, MN.; his grandchildren, Michael Engen (Faren), Eric Engen (Jessica), Brittany Goerges (Joby), Madison Michaelson (Matt), Cole Engen (Morgan), Leif Engen, Hans Engen, Nessa Engen and Jesse Engen; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Graham, Archer, Sanibel, Eli, Jack and Josie.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (35208 Co Rd 37, Crosslake, MN 56442). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Crosslake Food Shelf, Tunnel to Towers Veteran Organization, or Bridges of Hope in support of Operation Sandwich.
