With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daryl David Proffit of Crosslake, Minnesota, born in Pine River, Minnesota, who passed away on June 27, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Proffit and Betty Proffit (Peterson); his son David; and his siblings, Carol Proffit Dahl and Dennis Proffit.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Smith of Diner's Broasted Chicken; his daughter Teresa Proffit; his grandchildren, Richardo Quimiro, Jacob Gerado Vasquez-Proffit, Stacey Hammer (James), Jennifer Balkcum and Oliver Balkcum; and his sister-in-law Judith Proffit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Memorials will be going to those who have help care for Daryl. Please contact the funeral home for details.
