He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Waby and Jessie Waby (Taylor); his sons, Robert Waby and Tom Waby; his sister Katherine "Tonder" Jongewaard; and his son-in-law Rocky Valentino.
He is survived by: his former wife Estella Wiskow; his wife Stell; his children, Chuck Waby (Lisa) of Deerwood, Sheila Valentino of Aitkin and Jody Smith (Mark) of Baxter; and his daughters-in-law, Sarah Waby and Lori Waby of Brainerd. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many many great grandchildren.
