She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Marxen and Pearl Marxen (Stickney); her daughter Wendy Nelson; her siblings, Harold Marxen, Fern Rieger and Inez Lewis; and her daughter-in-law Joni Giffin.
She is survived by: her children, Barry of Waite Park and Shelley Schuenke (Thomas) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Shannon, Leslie, Joshua, Kallie and Kari; her sister Lois Voss of Maple Grove; and her son-in-law Terry Nelson. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
