John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Richard Nordeen; and his father-in-law Melvin Hallin. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Swanson (Duane); his wife Becky; his mother-in-law Janice Hallin (Leonard); his son Shawn Hallin (Janelle); his grandchildren, Tyler, Kiara, Jenna, Landin, Harlow and Halle; his brother Donald (Dawn); and his siblings-in-law, Mike (Deb), Doug (Ruth), Jim (Beth), David, Mark (Pam), Tom (Linnea), Brenda, Marilyn (Brian) and Sheryl (Wade). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (619 Poplar St, Crosby, MN 56441). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
