It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Marr of Crosby, Minnesota, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Marr and Anna Marr (Meyer); his stepmother Meriam Marr; and his brother David Marr. He is survived by: his wife Janet Widmer; his children, Jeremy Marr of Buda, TX, Jared Marr, Ellen Northey (Sam) of Circle Pines and Anna Burczek (Gary) of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Zachary, Megan Northey, Phoebe, Freyja Marr, Ashley, Jack Burczek, Zoe, Alanna, Dekklin Larsen and Brianna Marr; his siblings, Douglas Rubey of Loves Park, IL and Marlene Mahlke (David) of Huntley, IL; and his sister-in-law Kathy Rubey of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Crosslake Lutheran Church or the Crosslake American Legion.
