James Douglas Grimes Obituary
The passing of James Douglas Grimes of Crosby, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Grimes and Marian Grimes (McDonough); his son Timothy; and his siblings, Charles, Michael and Patricia Grimes.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Tinker; his children, Steve Grimes (Cindy) of Indianapolis, IN and Paula Powers (Tom) of Fridley; and his brother Richard Grimes (Marie) of St. Louis Park. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (299 Red Oak Dr, Aitkin, MN 56431). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
