It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Effie M Hofmann (Crosby, Minnesota), born in McGregor, Minnesota, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Kant; her husband Dennis A Hofmann; her siblings, William Kant, Louise Meacham and Anna Glad; and her granddaughter Sherry Ann Hofmann.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Hofmann (Beverly Bayliss) and Vicki Wier (Dennis). She is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has set up a memorial fund at Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity in Brainerd. Donations should be made payable to LAHFH with Effie Hofmann Memorial in the memo line.
