He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Vaudrin and Marlys Vaudrin (Mercil); his sister Sylvia Lunos; his uncle R. Bray; his aunt Willa Mae Mercil; and his cousin Kari Tiedeman Demarais.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Rod Lunos of Bedford, TX; his nephews, Bryan and Michael; his niece Jennifer; his extended family Gordy Tiedeman of Walker, MN; and his cousins, Cathy Miller of Devil's Lake, ND, Steve Mercil of Pepin, WI, Michael Mercil (Ann Hamilton) of Columbus, OH, Richard Mercil (Rosa Panzarella) of Grand Forks, ND, Emily Mercil of Minneapolis and Maggie Mercil of Minneapolis.
