He is survived by: his wife Linda Knutson (Frethem); his children, Derek Knutson (Emily) of Chattanooga, TN, Sarah Danielson (Bret) of Sioux Falls, SD and Aaron Knutson (Anna Petry) of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Drew Knutson, Cora Knutson, James Knutson, Thomas Knutson, Caleb Danielson, Carly Danielson and Caley Danielson; his sister Mary Solie (Dan) of Minneapolis, MN; his stepsiblings, John Wertish, Jim Wertish and Judy Bemis; and his brother-in-law Kenny Amundson of McIntosh, MN..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral & Cremation Service (615 S Minnesota St, Crookston, MN 56716). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (205 S Broadway, Crookston, MN 56716).
