She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pester and Elizabeth Pester (Tinnermeier); her sons, Curtis, Gerald and Philip; her grandsons, Jeremy and Travis Brekken; her great grandchild Isaiah Murphy; and her siblings, Harlan (Muzz Pester), Charles (Etha Pester), Margaret (Bennie Strickler), Dorothy (Romuald Brekken) and Marion (Michael Carroll).
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Edie), Marcella (Pat McConville), Dennis (Bev), David (Shirley), Gregory (Maggie), Mark (Jody), Vincent (Marie), Christine (Robert Olson) and Michelle (Elliott Solheim); and her daughter-in-law Kristie Ricard of Crookston. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Care and Share of Crookston or the Cathedral School Scholarship Fund of Crookston.
