With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Arel of Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on December 12, 2020 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ogaard and Victoria Ogaard (Desrosier); her husband Harvey Arel; her son David Arel; her granddaughter Elizabeth Jean Johanneck; her siblings, Luella Bergum, Lucille Charron, Vernon and Ray Ogaard; and her sons-in-law, Lee Tesh and Charlie Johanneck.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Tesh of Kernersville, NC, Gloria Johanneck of South Milwaukee, WI, Kenneth Arel (Barbara) of Pine Island, MN and Daniel Arel (Lorna) of Dilworth, MN. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
