He is survived by: his wife Shirley Nielsen (Goosen); his children, Michelle Halberg (Eric) of Las Vegas, NV, Heather Socha (Scott) of Town, Cindy Heydt (Todd McMillan) of Akron, OH, Marcia Haglund (Steve) of Crookston, Joshua Nielsen (Natalie) of Kindred, ND and Brandon Nielsen (Chrysti) of Williston, ND; his grandchildren, Chris, Stephanie (Justin), Jake (Ashley), Jonas, Shaylee, Caleb, Abby, Felicia, Mercades, Quentyn, Haylee, Kevin, Riley, Cora, Piper and Katherine; his stepgrandchildren, Xena, Shana, Sebastian, Ethan and William; and his great grandchildren, Kayden, McKenna, Kylee, Korbyn and Mason. He is also survived by 2 brothers, and a sister.
