He is survived by: his wife Pat Coauette; and his children, Mark Coauette (Jo Ann) of Virginia Beach, VA, Michelle Gutierrez (Rob) of Norfolk, VA and Mitchell Coauette (Peggy) of Crookston. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
