He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Kleven and Julia Kleven (Lindstrom); and his grandparents, George, Ada Lindstrom, Carl and Helga Kleven.

He is survived by: his son Anthany Kleven; and his siblings, Lee Kleven of Hibbing, MN, Billy Kleven of Karlstad, Rosetta Loerzel (Bruce) of Danbury, WI and Melody Anderson of Stephen, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
