He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Mae Brunelle; his grandson Chad Michael Oakes; his parents, Emery Palmer and Lenore Palmer; his parents-in-law, Irvin and Fern Brunelle; and his brother-in-law David Brunelle.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Sykes (Jerry) of Crookston, Lynn Oakes (Ricky) of Crookston, Timothy Palmer (Kristie) of Crookston and Rebecca Lowe (Larry) of Boonville, IN; his grandchildren, Leah Oakes (Kevin Crocker), Aaron Sykes (Jennifer), Mandy Bernardy (Justin), Samantha Lowe, Sarah Ruark (Scott), Kelsey Johnson (Zack), Mykl Palmer, Jacob Lowe and Kathryn Lowe; his granddaughter-in-law Melanie Oakes; his sisters, Doris Janssen (Bill) of Crookston, Joni Tollefson (Sherm) of Glendale, AZ and Bonny Landwehr (Larry) of Sartell, MN; his sister-in-law Sally Cammack (Charles) of Dunwoody, GA; and his pet Katie. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the family of Larry Palmer will hold a private Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with The Very Rev. Vincent Miller, presiding.
