He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Jean "Cookie" Arness; his son Danny; his parents, Ione and J. Meredith; and his sisters, Betty and Noni.
He is survived by: his son Brent (Erika); and his grandchildren, Kryton Mesrour, Silas Evenson, Vera Evenson and Caleb Evenson.
A prayer was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral & Cremation Service (615 S Minnesota St, Crookston, MN 56716). Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home (615 S Minnesota St, Crookston, MN 56716). A Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (702 Summit Ave N, Crookston, MN 56716).
