It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnne Mary Halliday of Crookston, Minnesota, born in Fosston, Minnesota, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albin Dahlberg and Agnes Dahlberg (Halvorson); her significant other Kenneth Gordon Halliday; her siblings, Russell Dahlberg, Pearl Fjerstad (Wilton), Darlyn Kaiser (Pete) and Deloris Lund; her parents-in-law, Vernon and Ida Halliday; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Halliday (Jean), Jean Johnson (Herb), Betty Parsell (Andy), Ellen Halliday, Molly Bliss (Sherman), Philip Halliday and Jim Halliday.
She is survived by: her sons, Todd Halliday of Oshkosh, WI and Mark Halliday (Patricia) of Saugus, CA; her daughter-in-law Vicki Lynn Halliday of Oshkosh; her grandchildren, Emily Kaprelian (Brian) of Neenah, WI, Amy Halliday of Arlington, VA, Ken Halliday of Oshkosh and Jacob Halliday; her great grandchildren, Avery, Aspen, Archer Kaprelian and Kali Halliday; and her sisters, Ruby Wilde of Fosston, MN and Ramona Heden of Plummer, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ (321 5th Ave S, Crookston, MN 56716). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Oakdale Cemetery Memorial (213 N Broadway, Crookston, MN 56716).
Memorials may be given in JoAnne's name to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
