It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Carol Ray of Crookston, Minnesota, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Ray; her parents, Adolph Rhode and Mamie Rhode; her sister Betty Johnson; and her parents-in-law, Ervin and Esther Ray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Ray of Crookston, MN and Trina Mason of Crookston, MN; her grandchildren, Dennis Brule of Crookston, Hollie Cunningham (Steven), Ashley Shelton of Minneapolis, MN, Crystal Ray of Grand Forks, ND, Nick Stroot and Kayla Olson of Crookston; her great grandchildren, Dennis Jr., Carissa, Junior, Calvin of Brandi, JJ and Jaden; and her brothers, Edward Rhode of Grand Junction, MI and Dale Rhode (Rosie) of Minneapolis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
